Our Mission

We believe all small businesses and consumers in underrepresented areas of Marion County deserve access to resources, education, and partnerships that close the generational wealth gap. By fostering connections between consumers and Black-owned businesses, we aim to transform general statistics into undeniable success stories for both communities.

What We Do

Empowering Communities

Black Dolla Connect focuses on creating opportunities for growth by providing resources, education, and connections that strengthen Black-owned businesses and empower underrepresented communities

Our 7-week ideation course helps individuals who want to start a business turn their ideas into reality. Meeting twice a week, participants learn foundational skills, explore business models, and create actionable plans to launch their ventures with confidence.

We connect consumers to small Black-owned businesses in real-time. At the same time, we support those businesses by linking them to local resources to help them grow and sustain their businesses.

We host networking opportunities, vendor showcases, community gatherings, and workshops designed to connect, educate, and empower Black-owned businesses and the communities they serve.

We strive to connect with local organizations and community leaders deeply rooted in the Black ecosystem. By incorporating our fundamental programs into more advanced programs, we reduce fragmentation and create a unified approach to supporting Black-owned businesses. Our goal is to connect, not compete, offering unique benefits that complement and strengthen existing initiatives
